border crossing Sotina - Serdiški breg (Rdeči breg) (Austrian path)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Gederovci (to here from Radenci or Murska Sobota) and we continue driving in the direction of Kuzma. Immediately, when we get to the settlement Sotina we turn left in the direction of Sotinski breg and Austria, and at the next crossroad, we go straight in the direction of Austria. Sotina soon ends, and we drive also past the quarry, and then we already get to the border crossing Sotina, in front of which we park on an appropriate place.
B) We drive into Kuzma (to here from the settlement Grad, Mačkovci or Petrovci), and then we continue driving towards Sotina and Austria. When Kuzma ends follows a relatively short ascent, and then a descent, where at the crossroad with the priority road we continue left (right - Austria and border crossing Kuzma). Further, we quickly get to Sotina, and we continue to the end of the settlement, where we go right in the direction of Sotinski breg and Austria, and at the next crossroad, we go straight in the direction of Austria. Sotina soon ends, and we drive also past the quarry, and then we already get to the border crossing Sotina, in front of which we park on an appropriate place.

Path description:
From the border crossing we over the bridge cross stream Klavžni potok / Klausenbach, and then t the crossroad on the Austrian side we continue left towards the settlement Strgarjevo / Kalch, where only a little further we cross also the river Ledava / Limbach (by the road there are signs for river Lendva, which is Hungarian name for the river). We few minutes continue along the main road, and then at a smaller cross we continue slightly left on a cart track which passes into the forest and starts ascending on a slope. A little higher we go at the crossing left and we continue the ascent on a little wider cart track which brings us to the woodpiles.
After the woodpiles the cart track narrows a little and splits into two parts. We continue on the slightly left cart track (possible also right, because the cart tracks higher join), by which at the next crossing there are signs for themed trail, which point us to the right. At the next crossing, where we join the before mentioned cart track we go left and then we continue the ascent to the national border between Slovenia and Austria, which we reach on the saddle between Serdiški breg on the left and Kefašev breg / Rotterberg on the right.
Here we go left (right - border stone of Maria Theresa), and after the green house we leave the cart track and we start ascending by the edge of the forest in the direction towards the east. After a short ascent, we reach Slovenian marked path, and we go right and by the field we ascend on panoramic Serdiški breg.
