From the road Murska Sobota - Hodoš, in the settlement Šalovci a little after the gas station Ina, we turn left in the direction of Budinci and Dolenci. When we get to Dolenci from the crossroad we continue left, and after the bus stop we go right on a side road. Next follows some descent, and after the transformer we cross the stream Dolenski potok and from the crossroad after the bridge we go left. Further, we stick to the main road, where we go past a cross and chapel, and then also through the hamlet Petešin Breg to the national border, where we park on an appropriate place.
Path description:
From the border crossing, where we notice signs for path "Pout po dolaj pa bregaj" we continue left towards the west and at first, we still walk on the asphalt road, from which a nice view opens up towards the part of Budinci - the northernmost village in Slovenia. When the asphalt road turns left we go straight on a cart track, by which there are numerous border stones. The path ahead leads us on a national border, and at the border stone A 126 we leave the national border, because signs on the trees point us slightly right on Hungarian side of the border. We continue parallel with the national border, but we walk entirely on the territory of Hungary. A little further at two marked crossings we go straight and we still continue a little right from the national border. Before one of few hunting observatories, which we notice by the path, signs from the cart track point us to the left, where after few 10 strides of additional walking, we get to the border stone A 115, by which there is the northernmost point of Slovenia.
