End of road on Vogar - Planina Dedno Polje (via Krištofojca)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go on exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and forward towards Bohinjska Bistrica. We continue driving towards the Lake Bohinj (Ribčev laz), where we come to the crossroad, where we continue right in direction of Stara Fužina. In Stara Fužina at the crossroad at the chapel we turn sharply left on an ascending road in direction of the mountain pasture Blato, mountain pasture Vogar and valley Voje. Road ahead brings us to the spot, where the road toll or parking fee has to be paid, we follow it forward to the next crossroad, where we continue left (right Voje). Road we then follow to the next crossroad (we drive for quite some time), where we continue straight (sharply right mountain pasture Planina Blato). Then we follow the road past the mountain pasture Vogar and we drive there to the parking lot at the end of the road.
From the spot, where a road toll has to be paid to the starting point is a little less than 11 km of driving, in the last part it is a macadam road.

Path description:
By the parking lot we notice signs for mountain pasture Planina Viševnik, which point us to the right on a wide and at first also quite steep cart track. After few minutes of steep ascent cart track flattens, after that continues without large changes in altitude still through the forest. When the cart track turns to the right, we continue straight on a marked footpath, and which at first is for short time ascending gently. When the path becomes steeper we will notice on the left side a cairn and by it path, which leads on Pršivec (path later joins the normal path from Vogar), and we continue straight on a steep mountain path. Path ahead is for some time still steeply ascending through the forest, after that for some time flattens and it brings us to abyss Brezno pri Gamsovi glavici (abyss is explored to depth 817 meters). Above the abyss path passes into indistinct and in the upper part also steeper small valley, through which we ascend on a smaller saddle between Pršivec (1761 meters) on the left and Gornji Viševnik (17022 meters) on the right. Here the path entirely flattens, after that for some time it continues over pastures of Gornji Viševnik. On the other side path returns in the forest and in few minutes of descent brings us to mountain pasture Planina Viševnik, in the middle of which stands cottage Bregarjevo zavetišče.
From the mountain pasture Viševnik we continue right downwards in direction of the mountain hut Koča na planini pri Jezeru, and after few strides, on a marked crossing left in direction of the path over Krištofojca. Path ahead is at first descending diagonally on slopes of Griva, after that it flattens and leads us past many smaller abysses. Few minutes ahead path widens into a cart track, on which we quickly get to a marked crossing, where we join a wider path, which leads from mountain pasture Planina pri Jezeru towards the mountain pasture Dedno polje.
We follow the mentioned path to the left and further we are ascending on a wide cart track. Higher cart track flattens and path brings us on the mountain pasture Dedno polje.
