Visoko (Mali Kurešček) - Sveti Lenart (Krvava Peč) (via Pavlinovo brezno)

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Ig, and then we continue driving towards Kurešček. When from the main road, the road branches off to the left towards Kurešček we continue straight, and then we quickly get to the settlement Visoko. About 200 meters ahead from the sign, which marks the beginning of the settlement, on the part where the road runs through the forest, on the right side we notice signposts for Kurešček, Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. We park on an appropriate place by the road.
B) First, we drive to the settlement Rob (to here from the road Ljubljana - Kočevje, where at settlement Rašica we turn towards the settlement Rob, or from Notranjska) and from there in the direction of Kurešček. Higher, we get to the settlement Zapotok, where at the crossroad after the bus stop we continue straight, and then we drive also past the ranch, and after it we get to one more bus stop at hamlet Mali Kurešček. Here we continue straight as well, and when the road passes into the forest, on the left side we notice signposts for Kurešček, Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. We park on an appropriate place by the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, we go on a marked path in the direction of Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. The path starts with few shorter ascents and descents and it leads us through the forest and through karst meadows. Relatively easy to follow footpath at the crossings we follow in the direction of the blazes, and after some time we reach the macadam road which we follow to the left. Next follows an ascent on the macadam road which makes few hairpin turns, and then we get to the next marked crossroad, where the path from Mokrc or starting point Kamen joins.
The path ahead leads us on less steep macadam road, from which soon worse road branches off to the left. We continue on the mentioned road which further isn't marked and which descends a little and changes into a cart track, and it turns slightly to the left. Cart track on the nearby clearing becomes quite overgrown, and at two smaller crossings we continue right. Follows few minutes of easy walking on a hardly followable footpath, and then the footpath becomes more distinct, and a little further widens into a cart track. When after a short descent, we reach the macadam road we follow it to the right.
While walking on the road from the left the path from Sekirišče joins, and a little further 100 meters long path branches off to the right to abyss Pavlinovo brezno. We continue straight and we join the path which doesn't lead past the abyss Pavlinovo brezno.
We go straight and in a gentle descent, we continue to Krvava Peč, where from the right side, the path from Iški Vintgar joins. Here we go left and past Center of veterans OZVVS Velike Lašče we descend to a marked crossing in the village.
At the crossing, we choose the right path (left church of St. Lenart on the road), which also leads towards Sveti Lenart, and a little further we go from the road left and through the yard and past the field we walk to the edge of the forest, where the footpath starts ascending steeper. We soon get to a viewpoint with a bench and table, from which a nice view opens up on the other side of the river Iška, where we see Osredek, and left at the back the view reaches all the way to Snežnik.
At the bench the path turns left and it quickly brings us to the road which we also follow to the left, and there we walk to the nearby church of St. Lenart from 17th century.
