Vršič above Bogojina

Description of mountain:
Vršič is 246 meters high hill, which is gently rising north from Bogojina, village in the middle of which is situated Church of the Ascension, for which plan was prepared by architect Jože Plečnik. On the summit of Vršič, which surround numerous vineyards, stands a wooden lookout tower. If we ascend to the top of the mentioned tower, from there a nice view opens up on the nearby and distant surroundings.
