Suggestions for descriptions of routes that don't exist yet

Hribi.net is really an exceptional site when it comes to the multitude of described routes on it. And that number really increases at a good pace every day. Despite all, there are still some hills and routes that aren't up here yet, but really deserve it with their beauty or peculiarities... I will try to list some routes and hills that aren't here yet. Hill Goljek is located between Zreče and Stranice. It's not here at all. I was on it once and I remember that near the top there's also some rocky more difficult part. Unfortunately this hill isn't that interesting to me as those in the area Konjič Mala gora, Konjiška gora and Kislica, which are always priorities. In Croatia Ivanščica isn't described yet. And it is known as the highest mountain in northern Croatia (which isn't accurate, Sveta Gera/Trdinov vrh is higher). Klek is considered the cradle of Croatian mountaineering because the first official hiking trip was made on it and the first Croatian mountaineering club was founded on it. The mountain itself has a description, individual routes don't yet... I'll try that next year if someone doesn't beat me to it. In the Celje area is mountain Kamnik. Two easy routes are described, but there are two quite nice climbing routes here... I think we also have some nice routes in KSA. I got a tip that the ascent to Konj from Podvolovljek via Lonec, Grofov štant and Presedljaj is an exceptional thing... That's why I'm opening this thread so everyone here says if they know some interesting route or a whole mountain and suggests that this description be uploaded to the web in some future.

Marx knows that (if I understand correctly), that everyone can make/upload a description.. He just gave an incentive to find some more interesting route that doesn't have a description on hribi.net yet ...And I don't know why it's necessary to mention knowledge/ignorance of Slovenian. The guy is trying!

Daaam, that's clear to everyone, but sirt1 just can't do without his nationalist outbursts. Not the first time and I believe not the last either

Slovenian doesn't go best for me, that's true... ... but up here there's quite a nice multitude of my descriptions. For now I have exclusivity on Hungary... Well, it's not very mountaineering interesting, but still... Back to the topic: Extreme via ferrata Riegersburg also known as Leopold Klettersteig. This is for Prekmurje people, but also closest to Maribor (and Varaždin) of this type. It's located on rocks of an extinct volcano under the castle and is really a hit in this part of Austria. Often there's a crowd so you wait a while at the entrance. Difficulty is B/C, it also has a shorter branch with D difficulty. In the climbing complex there's also a smaller via ferrata for children... I was in Riegersburg castle, but unfortunately didn't have gear...

There are plenty of trips to mountains whose route descriptions aren't here yet. I don't know why, maybe because they're not for everyone, even though some are marked, others abandoned for this or that reason. I list just some: Bavški Grintavec from Bavšica via Planina Bukovec and Vrh Ruš. Kugyjeva pot from Belopeška jezera to Struga and Vevnica. Path to Bricelj from Bavšica too. To Matkova Kopa from Matkov kot, as well as to Krnička gora. To Vrh Laške planje, to Velika Baba above Žaga. Grintovec via Dolge stene, Planjava via Repov kot. I know many of you have already been on these paths and I would ask if you can provide descriptions of these paths also for others here on the forum. Thanks.

Search the forum-conditions, descriptions will be given later, everyone has the opportunity to go to a new route and forward a new description with photos. I know that most prefer to drive to Mangart saddle, because they don't see that there's a partially difficult marked path from Belopeška jezera to Mangart summit past the bivouac, my description was rejected years ago, so a few more words under forum-conditions. Missing description Trentski Pelc, Srebrnjak, Vrh Krnice, Goličica....

The path through Repov kot to Planjava is described on hribi.net, just need to search a bit, similarly to Matkova kopa there is a description and also for Krnička it can be found. Anyway, those who feel capable for off-path hiking will get where they want anyway whether there's a description or not.

I was already thinking about preparing a detailed description for Krnička gora and Matkova kopa, but I heard that locals aren't too enthusiastic about mass mountaineering. If you search the literature, you'll find descriptions by V. Habjan (Brezpotja).

Pohodnik38 has good video recordings from trips that can help many, just they should be more detailed, like a guide from here to there. That's just a suggestion, otherwise praise also for the website. Maybe I miss in his videos comments that can be mischievous but still fun.

For you from the Celje, Maribor area, the Kamnik Alps are ideal and those few peaks—really better that they remain just off-trail. For us west of Ljubljana, above Tolmin, Kobarid, Bovec it's already a real paradise for off-trail routes; there are also marked paths where there's peace aplenty. For example, Rdeči Rob, Škofič, Vrh nad Peski, Batognica—on the afternoon ascent met no one, except saw 2-4 at the starting point.

@gordillo and maybe others too... trail under your feet, "little camera" in hand, Garmin if you have it or not on left wrist or in pocket, above all open your eyes wide, follow the path(s) and then at home peacefully with cold juice or beer, meat or vegan sandwich do the description... No need right away, can stock some up, for long cold autumn/winter evenings by crackling fire... Not hard, some real will and "that's it". Hundreds, thousands of trails left... even important peaks across Slovenia have relatively few descriptions, no need to waste words on more obscure summits. Personally chose lower altitudes, mainly interested in connecting paths between individual hills, ranges, exclusively marked ones, more remote starting points... while about unmarked I write too but unofficially - in conditions. Pathless areas should remain somewhere for wildlife and flora, locals, maybe those seeking more solitude,... especially below tree line. Above tree line no problem in my view, but descriptions must be really quality, I'd say precise and safe... lots more chances for accidents, injuries etc. and real difficulty assessment... But it's certainly cool when you bring some lesser-known peak or point to life on the web like this, get some good "feedback"... Best regards

btuny, that's it !!! I also post some trail that isn't there yet, although currently I'm more "picking" marked ones and Garmin helps me a lot with that, to later draw where I wandered

I'd mostly agree with bruny, but that bugs me: precise and safe. Whoever hikes pathless alone knows you find a passage that seems best at that moment, sometimes you go a third time on the "same path", it's a bit different each time. At least I can hardly remember my approach so well to describe it properly to someone who's never been there. Even more: often I don't find my way even from others' descriptions, go my own and arrive, sometimes not. I think it's important that the description is good enough to guide you in searching. There are quite a few trails published in guidebooks, including all from Repov kot to Planjava. When you hike those published without checking every step, maybe you're mature enough to find something of your own. That's the charm of pathless, hiking with GPS should stay for when conditions worsen and you'd otherwise get into trouble.

you're demanding ... I demand some users be deleted because I don't like their typing and because they didn't want to go to mountains with me

@Okmodko: do you strictly hike only marked trails? Never once gone on an unmarked one, taken some shortcuts,...?

I'm also for: let's make a special thread "Unmarked trails". Curiosity knows no bounds. If someone posts their report of unmarked approach to some goal, it can only help others repeat it and be of assistance. But everyone must assess for themselves when they'll "wander" into that category.

Here I think there's too much moralizing. Fact is people hike, and where people hike there will be traces, and where there are passages they will soon be marked too. That's how the world goes. And if we look at the biggest "scandal" in this area in Slovenian mountains, the "marking" of the path over Žmavčarje, I'd see it mainly as a symptom - it's simply the shortest and most natural passage to some of the most important peaks in Kamniks and it's simply illusory to think people won't hike there and eventually attempts at marking won't happen. It's simply nonsensical to expect such a passage to be "remote" and "solitary". So I'd give a provocative proposal here - I think it would make sense to mark that path. Then we'd have official markings done according to all rules, instead we have only attempts at unofficial marking that will surely repeat. As for the argument about protecting wilderness and not luring people everywhere, I agree in principle, but still - I think no normal person would expect solitude and wilderness on the most natural path from central Slovenian region towards say Skuta. Therefore - such passages make sense to mark in my opinion, for wilderness lovers there will always remain enough paths that aren't so easily accessible, so natural and surely no one will ever try to mark them. Or an analogous example - how would it be on the summit part of Triglav if it weren't secured - maybe fewer people, but surely a sea of pitons, drills and fixed ropes would appear quickly there, and the crowd would be even worse with fewer people. So I think arranging paths is lesser evil in many cases.

Jax, agree. If someone wants total wilderness, let them go to some jungle
