Planina Blato - Koča na Planini pri Jezeru (via planina v Lazu)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and forward towards Bohinjska Bistrica. We continue driving towards the Lake Bohinj (Ribčev laz), where we come to the crossroad, where we continue right in the direction of Stara Fužina. In Stara Fužina at the crossroad at the chapel, we turn sharply left on an ascending road in the direction of the mountain pasture Blato, mountain pasture Vogar and valley Voje. The road ahead brings us to the spot, where the road toll or parking fee has to be paid, we follow it forward to the next crossroad, where we continue left (right Voje). Then we follow the road to the next crossroad (we drive for quite some time), where we turn sharply right in the direction of the mountain pasture Blato (straight mountain pasture Vogar). We follow this road to the parking lot above the mountain pasture Planina Blato.

Path description:
From the parking lot on the mountain pasture Blato we go on the road a little back to the signposts at a cart track. Here we go on a cart track which at first steeply ascends and is then moderately ascending and in ten minutes of walking, it brings us to a crossing, where we go right in the direction of the mountain pasture Planina v Lazu (left mountain pasture Planina pri Jezeru). Already after few 10 strides of additional walking, we come to the next crossing, where we continue right again on a worse cart track (straight mountain pasture Planina pri Jezeru steep path). The path ahead is moderately ascending and mostly runs through the forest. After an hour and a half of walking, the path on the mountain pasture Krstenica branches off to the right, and we continue straight in the direction of the mountain pasture Laz. The path ahead starts descending a little and then quickly brings us on the mountain pasture.
From the mountain pasture, we continue slightly left towards last cottage on the mountain pasture. The path which is slightly descending quickly brings us to mogul meadow, where it turns left and continues through series of smaller valleys. A little further, the path branches off to the right on the mountain pasture Dedno polje, and we continue straight on the path which a little later starts ascending and eventually brings us on a smaller ridge, where the path turns right and starts descending towards the lake on the mountain pasture Planina pri Jezeru. From here only a short ascent follows and the path brings us to the mountain hut on the mentioned mountain pasture.
