Bottom station of cableway on Krvavec - Dom na Gospincu (Hotel Rozka)

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Vodice, and then we continue driving to a first traffic light crossroad in Vodice, where we continue left in the direction of Cerklje na Gorenjskem and Brnik. When we get to the main roundabout in Spodnji Brnik we continue driving in the direction of Cerklje and ski slope Krvavec. At the end of the settlement Cerklje na Gorenjskem we leave the main road which continues towards Velesovo and Visoko and we continue driving slightly right on a road in the direction of the ski slope Krvavec. We park on a big settled parking lot by the bottom station of the cable car on Krvavec.
B) From highway Jesenice - Ljubljana we go to the exit Kranj - east, and then we continue driving towards Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. When we get to the main roundabout in Spodnji Brnik we continue driving in the direction of Cerklje and ski slope Krvavec. At the end of the settlement Cerklje na Gorenjskem we leave the main road which continues towards Velesovo and Visoko and we continue driving slightly right on a road in the direction of the ski slope Krvavec. We park on a big settled parking lot by the bottom station of the cable car on Krvavec.

Path description:
From the bottom station of the cable car on Krvavec we short time continue on the asphalt road which leads towards Štefanja Gora, and we soon leave it, because at the beginning of the left turn we continue right on a macadam road, by which we notice signs for Davovec, graveyard of soldiers of NOB above Davovec and Krvavec. Worse macadam road continues along the stream Reka, and through the valley, we continue to the spot, where the marked path towards Davovec and Krvavec turns left. Here by the path, we notice signs, that in the opposite direction can come cyclists, because part of the path further runs on the route of cycling "downhill" track. The path ahead is ascending through the forest and is quite steeply ascending. Higher, the path brings us to mostly abandoned hamlet Davovec, where there are some houses. A little higher we reach the saddle Davovec, where join also the paths from Štefanja Gora and Spodnja Kokra, and we continue right, at first on a cart track in the direction of the mountain hut Dom na Gospincu. Quite gently sloping cart track then leads us past NOB monument, and after the memorial path in short time few times splits. At all crossings we carefully follow the blazes, and marked path soon leaves the cart track and is further steeply ascending through a dense forest. Steeper and steeper path higher brings us to a smaller vantage point, from which a view opens up on cable car, which runs on Krvavec. The path then returns into the forest and is ascending on the path, on which can in the opposite direction come some cyclist (there is quite a lot of them; larger part they have own route, but occasionally is only one path). When we come out of the forest, the path crosses a grazing fence and then it brings us on the road which we follow right to the upper station of the cableway on Krvavec. Mountain hut Dom na Gospincu is situtated right next to the mentioned station.
