Path description:
From the church continue on the macadam road towards the hamlet Na Kmetih, before the houses go on the left road which lightly ascends across the pasture. Above the pasture the road enters the forest, where it quickly flattens, then slightly descends to a larger meadow, which we bypass on the left side. When the smaller plain ends, choose a slightly right cart track which begins to ascend transversely and slightly higher returns to the forest. Follows a few minutes of ascent through the forest, higher we reach the ridge, where we join the marked path from Kropa, from the right an unmarked path from Brezovica also joins us.
Continue left towards Jamnik, the path leads us along a forested ridge, after a short ascent we reach the indistinct summit of Berigle. Higher the path from the ridge gradually transitions to the slope and bifurcates.
Left branches off the path to Jamnik, we go a few steps further left at the marked junction, from which we continue on a steep path in the direction of Vodiška planina. Follows a few minutes of steep ascent, then we cross an asphalt road.
On the other side of the road continue on the marked cart track, from it soon go right onto the footpath, which after a few minutes returns to the cart track. Follows some ascent on the cart track, where we make some hairpin turns, then the cart track narrows into a mountain path. During the further ascent some views towards Jamnik open up transiently, behind a smaller landmark the path widens into a cart track, which brings us to a junction where the path from Jamnik joins from the left.
Follow the signs for Vodice, quickly arrive at a junction where to the left branches off the path to Tehnika Meta, we continue right towards Vodice.
In continuation walk on a flat path which leads us through the plateau-like terrain of forested Jelovica.
From the old cart track path eventually the signs for Vodice direct us right onto a nicely traceable footpath which gradually ascends to the ridge Zidane skale. For some time we walk along the ridge, then arrive at the viewpoint Zidana skala, from which opens a nice view on the Karavanke and Kamniško Savinjske Alpe.
From the viewpoint the path returns to the forest, which further ascends along the edge of very steep slopes that are especially dangerous for slipping when wet. The path ahead ascends for a few more minutes, then turns slightly right and begins to descend relatively steeply. During the descent we still walk along the edge of steep slopes dangerous for slipping, this is also indicated by the memorial to the deceased hiker. The path then gradually flattens and brings us to the NOB memorial, where we join a wider cart track path.
Here continue right and continue the path on the cart track which after a few minutes begins to descend steeply towards Vodiška planina. After a short descent the path flattens and brings us to the mentioned planina, in the middle of which stands the Partizanski dom.
