Forestry cottage Rovtarica - Počitniški dom Goričane

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Škofja Loka, then we continue driving towards Železniki. In Železniki we turn right in the direction of Rudno, Dražgoše and Bohinjska Bistrica. Towards Dražgoše we drive to the place Rudno, there we continue slightly left in the direction of Bohinjska Bistrica. Further, for quite some time we drive on a macadam road which for the first 10 km moderately ascends, then it starts descending towards the forestry cottage at Rovtarica, where we park at an appropriate place by the crossroad of multiple roads.
B) We drive to Bohinjska Bistrica and continue driving towards Soriška planina. After a few kilometers of ascent we arrive at a crossroad, where the road towards Soriška planina branches off sharply to the right, and we continue straight in the direction of Železniki and Škofja Loka. Further on, the road becomes macadam, and we follow it to the forestry cottage at Rovtarica, where we park at an appropriate place by the crossroad of multiple roads.

Path description:
From Rovtarica we head onto the road in the direction of Vodic, Planinski dom Goška Ravan mountain hut and Selska planina mountain pasture. The road first ascends past a few cottages, then enters the forest, where it quickly brings us to the marked crossroad. From the crossroad we continue left in the direction of Počitniški dom Goričane (straight to Goška Ravan) and continue along the road, which gradually enters Gladka dolina. The path continues along a gentle road, which a little further brings us to the next crossroad. This time we continue straight or slightly right, and we continue to follow the gentle road to the marked parking lot by the next crossroad.
Here we continue left (straight to Oblakova planina and planina Tamar) and along a worse road that leads past a gate, in 3 minutes of further walking we reach Počitniški dom Goričane.
