Hunting cottage Plehanov laz - Krim

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Brezovica, and then we continue driving towards Podpeč. In Podpeč we go right and we continue driving in the direction Krim and Rakitna. At the next crossroads, we stick in the direction for Krim and Rakitna, and the road past village Dolenja and Zgornja Brezovica brings us to the spot, where a road branches off to the right towards the hunting cottage Plehanov laz (turn-off is marked). Here we continue straight and we follow the road only few 10 meters, or to the spot, where on the left side we notice a larger parking lot and by it mountain signposts for Krim and Kavec.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we go on the forest road in the direction of Krim and Kavec, and already after few steps it splits into two parts. We continue on the left marked road which starts gradually descending. Soon the road flattens, and after approximately 30 minutes of walking from the starting point brings us to wrongly marked crossing. From the road, marked cart track branches off sharply to the right, but mountain signpost for Krim, points left.
Here we go sharply right and we continue on a steep cart track, on which in 15 minutes of additional walking, we get to the cottage Koča na Kavcu.
From the mentioned cottage we continue in the direction of Krim (here we notice a signpost, which should be at the spot, where we left the road - signposts are changed and therefore misleading). The path ahead through a dense forest ascends to the near the clearing, through which leads quite overgrown footpath. The path quickly returns into the forest, where it then continues on a well-marked cart track. Higher, we cross a bad forest road, and we still continue on a marked path in the direction of Krim. And a little further we come to a macadam road which leads on Krim. Here we go slightly right and we continue on a steep cart track in the direction of Krim (possible is also to continue on the road). At first wide cart track, higher changes into a moderately steep footpath, on which we soon come to the fence, which is preventing or prohibits access on military area. Only few meters ahead we step on a macadam road, on which in few 10 strides of additional walking, we ascend to the mountain hut Dom na Krimu.
