OMP Sotina - Serdiški breg (Rdeči breg) (Austrian path)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Gederovci (to here from Radenci or Murska Sobota) and continue driving in the direction of Kuzma. Immediately when we get to the settlement Sotina, we turn left in the direction of Sotinski breg and Austria, and at the next crossroad we go straight in the direction of Austria. Sotina soon ends, and we also drive past the quarry, then we already arrive at the border crossing Sotina, in front of which we park at a suitable place.
B) We drive to Kuzma (to here from the settlement Grad, Mačkovci or Petrovci), then we continue driving towards Sotina and Austria. When Kuzma ends, some ascent follows, then a descent, where from the crossroad with the priority road we continue left (right - Austria and border crossing Kuzma). Further on, we quickly arrive in Sotina, and we continue through the settlement to the end of the settlement, where we go right in the direction of Sotinski breg and Austria, and at the next crossroad we go straight in the direction of Austria. Sotina soon ends, and we also drive past the quarry, then we already arrive at the border crossing Sotina, in front of which we park at a suitable place.

Route description:
From the border crossing, over the bridge, we cross the Klavžni potok / Klausenbach stream, then at the crossroad on the Austrian side we continue left towards the settlement Strgarjevo / Kalch, where a little further we also cross the river Ledava / Limbach (by the road there are signs for the river Lendva, which is the Hungarian name for the river). We continue for a few minutes along the main road, then at a smaller cross we continue slightly left onto a cart track, which passes into the forest and starts to ascend the slope. A little higher, from the fork, we go left and continue the ascent on a somewhat wider cart track, which brings us to the wood storage areas.
After the wood storage areas, the cart track narrows somewhat and splits into two parts. We continue on the slightly left cart track (also possible right, as the cart tracks join higher up), along which at the next fork there are signs for the themed trail that direct us right. At the next fork, where we join the previously mentioned cart track, we go left, then continue the ascent to the state border between Slovenia and Austria, which we reach at the saddle between Serdiški breg on the left and Kefašev breg / Rotterberg on the right.
Here we go left (right - border stone of Maria Theresa), behind the green house we leave the cart track and start to ascend along the edge of the forest in the direction towards the east. After a short ascent we reach the Slovenian marked path, and we go right and ascend along the field to the panoramic Serdiški breg.
