Ožbalt (jez na potoku Črmenica) - Grilov vrh (on cart track)

Access to starting point:
From the road Maribor - Dravograd we drive almost to the settlement Ožbalt (from the direction of Dravograd slightly after the settlement). A few hundred meters before (from the direction of Dravograd after the settlement) the mentioned settlement, a road branches off to the right (from the direction of Dravograd to the left) towards Gradišče and Kapla. We turn onto the mentioned road and drive to the first sharper right turn, where we park in a suitable spot near the turn.

Route description:
From the starting point above the dam we continue on an asphalt road (immediately above the starting point a usual steep path branches off to the right), from which we turn slightly right onto a forest road after a few dozen meters, which then ascends diagonally towards the left. Higher up, we pass a turn-off to a nearby homestead, but we continue walking on a macadam road until we cross two successive torrent streams.
Here, we leave the road for a path that continues alongside the second stream, and then we ascend on an older swampy cart track. After a short ascent, we turn right, leaving the stream area, and then ascend diagonally towards the right. Higher up, we also cross the previously mentioned first stream, where just below us we see a path that continues slightly below our path. Further on, the path begins to ascend more steeply and gradually turns more to the left. When we reach the ridge higher up, we also reach a well-trodden usual path to Grilov vrh, which we follow to the left (to the right, Turška peč is 1 minute away and our starting point via the steep path).
The path ahead leads us along a cart track, which initially ascends diagonally to the right, and higher up, at several crossroads, we follow the better-trodden path.
When we reach a poorer road higher up, we follow it to the right; shortly after, at a crossroad, we turn sharply left (straight ahead leads a cart track that can take us to the summit, marked on the map as Grilov vrh). Next follows a diagonal ascent to the left, and to the right above the path, we already see the transmitters on Grilov vrh. We leave the road a little higher up, turning right onto a cart track that leads us out of the forest, and we walk along a scenic grassy slope to the transmitters on Grilov vrh, where an inscription box is located.
