Podgorje - Golič (via hunting cottage)

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Kozina. We follow the road ahead towards Koper to the village Petrinje, where we go left in the direction of Podgorje. The road which at first steeply ascends soon brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue left. Ahead we drive to the village Podgorje, where we park on a large parking lot near the sports field.
B) Access from Koper: On old road we drive towards Postojna and only a little after the village Črni Kal road towards the village Podgorje branches off sharply to the right. We follow this road to a large parking lot near the sports field, which is situated in the village Podgorje.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we return to the main road and we follow it ahead in the direction of driving. After few ten meters we come to a crossroad, where wooden signposts point us to the right. At the crossroad, we continue on the road in the direction of Kojnik. The road which runs without changes in altitude has at the beginning some crossroads, but we everywhere continue on the one that is "main". Here and there we can notice some faded blaze, which marks the path towards Kojnik. After a time the road gradually starts ascending and a little higher brings us to a crossroad, where we continue left. And we follow this road to the next crossroad, where we continue left again. The path ahead leads us past the hunting cottage Kojnik. A little above cottage we leave a worse road and we continue the ascent left in the forest on a marked path. After a short ascent, we step out of the forest and the path brings us on panoramic grassy slopes, on which we diagonally ascend. Above panoramic slopes path passes into a pleasant pine forest, through which we ascend to the top of Kojnik.
From Kojnik we continue on a marked path in the direction of Žbevnica, and it starts gently descending. After few minutes of descent, the path brings us by stone fence, by which we then continue. The path ahead leads us partly on a grassy cart track, and partly on occasionally poorly visible and partly also overgrown footpath. Panoramic path, which mostly runs on meadows, then slightly ascends and brings us on a wider cart track. We continue on a cart track which on the left side bypasses the peak with antennas, and then gradually gets closer to the foot of the northeastern secondary peak of Golič. Here cart the track steeply ascends and after approximately 15 minutes of additional walking brings us on Golič (secondary peak - peak with inscription box and "cross").
From the secondary peak, we slightly descend, and then in a moderate ascent we reach higher, but less distinct peak of Golič.
From the peak with a "cross" and to Golič we have good 20 minutes of walking.
