Second snowfield. Also possible without winter equipment, because the crossing is over a flat part. But you really mustnt fall. Plenty of interesting sections on the secured path. Does that stalagmite have a name? Considering were going to Baba, a few silly ones come to mind... ;-) First snowfield on the secured path. Short, unproblematic. From Ledin towards todays goal. Aaahhh... There is no more snow in the gully at all. I expected otherwise... Slovenian. The gully right before entering Slovenia. Very annoying across the scree now at the beginning of the season, when it has not been walked on yet. View from the prominent peak. Beautiful! At the top of Srednja peč. Theres still a bit of snow, but it wasnt a major obstacle. Already past the small saddle. View to the north into the valley. A lot of air below! The only place where I missed the optimal direction. I went up over this snowy gully. Otherwise the correct direction is marked with cairns, but I wasnt attentive enough. Already in the steep section, looking back towards the scree. On the scree, looking back. In the middle todays goal. Hi... until next time. Easy through the snow, or around, however we want. :P I had a nice snack in the warm grass. It opens up a bit, for the classic with ice axe from the top Uh, finally :) The roof doesnt stop. Somewhere here the bushwhacking starts abruptly. I take mine down the middle. It looks like theres not much snow, but when you break through, you learn theres still quite a bit :)
