NOW IT REALLY STARTS!

After many pre-tours, the time has come. We start the main part of the Alpine Adventure Tour 2013 and right away with a real highlight: the ascent of the legendary Watzmann East Face, the highest climbing wall in the Eastern Alps at 2,000 meters and one of the most famous and most coveted tours in the Alps. Last year various mishaps and above all bad weather prevented the tour, but summer 2013 seems too good: For weeks there's nothing but sunshine and record heat. It's 36 degrees today and tomorrow, on the day of our East Face ascent, it should even reach up to 39 degrees. An extreme physical challenge awaits us. But before it gets to that and we meet our mountain guide Hansi, we make a short detour to the beautiful Hintersee and tune ourselves for the upcoming adventures.
