Description: Babia Hora (1725 m a.s.l.) is located in the CHKO Horná Orava and in the Babiogórski National Park on the Polish side. It is the highest peak of the Beskydy. Its massif has the shape of the letter "V" and consists of the peaks of Malá Babia hora, Babia hora (Diablak), through which the Polish-Slovak border passes and is considered the northernmost point of Slovakia. On the Polish side there are also peaks Glowniak, Kepa and Sokolica. Babia Hora is also the border between two watersheds. Watercourses from the northern (Polish) side drain into the Vistula River, which belongs to the Baltic Sea basin. From the southern (Slovak) side it is drained by the Orava River (Biela Orava), which is part of the Váh basin and belongs to the Black Sea basin.
