Members of the Kranj Alpine Expedition to Peru 2004 also visited the Ishinca Valley in the Cordillera Blanca. Klemen Zupanc, Žiga Šter, Aljoša Brlogar, Anže and Tine Marenče ascended the 5400m high Urus for acclimatization and climbed the Scandinavian Route in the north face of Ranrapalca.
