We take the track that starts very close to the Hotel Al-Andalus and that takes us towards the Área Recreativa El Pinarillo; after passing this, we continue along the track, direction the fuente del Esparto. There is a point where this track crosses the barranco de Las Higueras, here we leave the cars and begin our route with 500m of elevation gain.
