Description:
This famous summit is located in the karst system of the Marguareis Park and is the third highest peak of the Ligurian Alps after Marguareis and Mongioie. The name derives from the fact that anciently on the underlying Passo delle Saline passed a salt road of great importance for salt trade connecting Piedmont and Liguria.
