The desire for mountains is not lacking but the day is gloomy and Ray is not at his best, what to do? We enter snack mode and climb to Belvedere and Cima Fertazza (or Cima dei Viai), one of the quietest loops in the Veneto Dolomites. Straddling Val Fiorentina and Valle del Cordevole (but with a wink to Val Zoldana) we find an easy path but with incredible panoramas, entirely on a forest road and with various refuges and refreshment points where to stop for a break.
