Forcella Cuel Tarond is roughly in the center of the long mountain chain that closes Val Dogna to the north and separates it from Val Canale. During the Great War, it was garrisoned by the Italian army, which with some surprise attacks managed to control almost its entire length. From Monte Schenone, passing through Forcella Cuel Tarond, Due Pizzi up to Jof di Miezegnot, they were firmly in our possession until the end of hostilities in this area, which occurred with the retreat of Caporetto.
