In this video, I take you on the spectacular via ferrata tour to Alpspitze (2,628 m) near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The tour starts at the mountain station at Osterfelderkopf and leads via the well-known via ferrata through the east face to the summit. Despite wet rock and changeable weather – in the end, I was rewarded with sun and a gigantic view. The via ferrata is category B.
