Hi friends,
in this video I show you the ascent to the local mountain of Mayrhofen in Zillertal. From the mountain station of the Ahornbahn it goes through the high mountain nature park Zillertaler Alpen to the Edelhütte. From there I climb through not overly difficult terrain up to the summit of Ahornspitze at almost 3,000 meters altitude. A threatening thunderstorm chases me from the summit and the way back to the station must be tackled very quickly.
