On this hike starting at Königskrug at the trailhead parking lot, we first go comfortably to the Hahnenkleeklippen, which drop steeply towards the Odertal. From the viewpoint, there is a wonderful panoramic view. Following the Hahnenkleer Waldstraße, it then goes gently down to the Alte Herrenlinie and shortly afterwards down the path to the Silberteich, a part of the Oberharzer Wasserregal. The dam is crossed and the weir is passed. Then we go a short stretch along the Braunlager Mythenpfad before the Brunnenbachsweg leads us to the Lenchenbank, where the picturesque Wiesenweg takes us to the Alte Harzburger Straße, on which we return to Königskrug.
