This time introducing tour to Boval Hut with Morteratsch glacier as scenery. Morteratsch glacier largest in Grisons flowing from Piz Bernina, Bella Vista. Mid-October forest trees turn yellow like flames, most beautiful view. To Boval Hut from Morteratsch station walk about 2 hours up side valley path. View from hut to glacier superb. Even as glacier melts and shrinks, very beautiful impressive view. Morteratsch glacier reached station area in 18th century but gradually melting retreating. From Boval Hut path walk about 1 hour valley path to glacier front, midway signs with measurements from 1878 to now showing how it shrank. See with own eyes how fast melting, surprised... or feel it deeply...
