Description:
In search of autumn foliage we chose the hiking course from Fafleralp to Anenhütte in Lötschental. Breathtaking beautiful autumn scenery! To Lötschental take route bus from Goppenstein station (one per hour). Get off at last bus stop of valley, Fafleralp. At 9am late October when got off bus, 4°C... deep valley so sunrise late. Started walking in cold, after one hour sun finally came out and warmed up immediately. Season to carry both T-shirt and winter jacket. Trees and shrubs in very beautiful autumn colors. Bright red, yellow, and above blue sky... heartwarming color combination.
