Description:
Grandioso, elegant, severe, one of the most beautiful Ampezzan mountains: Croda Rossa.

Among all the 3000m peaks of the Dolomites, it is decidedly the most demanding and risky summit.
Croda Rossa rises to 3146 meters, one of the largest and most admirable in the Dolomites. Antonio Berti describes it as follows: “Easily recognizable for its spectacular pyramidal shape, powerful, broad-based and slender at the top. Among the pale Dolomites, to highlight the contrast, red appears here and there, a red crack, a red mountain, a red tooth, a red saddle, a red Lavina. In the entire Dolomite area, there is no entire blood-red wall like this one!”
