Description: Video dedicated to a nice outing in Val Formazza, this time the goal was the Eastern Horn of Nefelgiù climbed in winter gear, with snowshoes, ice axe and crampons. It was a truly pleasant and interesting trip on snow in good conditions, generally firm and load-bearing, in some sections we used crampons. Superlative and enchanting environment, in this area it's hard to go wrong with the choice of destination, I'd say for snowshoers and ski mountaineers there's only the embarrassment of choice! We ascended from Alpe Stafel via Vallone di Nefelgiù and South-West ridge (descent via the same route). Elevation gain: 1200 m Difficulty: BR/F. Travel time: about 4 hours ascent and 3 hours descent. Participants: Stelvio Lanzone and Alessandro Tagliasco. For better video viewing select 1080 HD 60fps. Enjoy and see you on the next trips and videos!
