Video dedicated to the ascent of the highest mountain in the Monte Rosa Group: Punta Dufour 4637 m. A great satisfaction for me, I had long wanted to reach the summit of this great mountain and settle an old score after a failed attempt years ago..! This time Dufour allowed me to the top! First day from Alagna to Rifugio Gnifetti, second day to Punta Dufour via Rey ridge, descended the Italian normal route, also climbing Punta Zumstein, second 4000 of the day. Overnight at Rifugio Mantova. Third day down to Punta Indren, then cable car back to Alagna. Total elevation gain: 1362 m. Difficulty: D-. Participants: Stelvio Lanzone, Alessandro Sbrana, Sandro Borini, Osvaldo Antonietti. Dates: 27, 28 and 29-8-2012. Video in full HD 1080p. Enjoy!
