Ross and Buchstein, popular Munich local mountains, offer plenty for climbers too. In the sunny Buchstein south wall there's a classic that even the one who prefers 4th-grade terrain can tackle if they trust themselves in lower 6th grade: the South Wall Delight aka South Wall Chimney. The 4 pitches are rated 4 to 6- in topos (i.e., 4a-5b), but you can add half a grade without exaggeration. The wall is steep and the climbing stricter than it seems. Some spots are a bit greasy already. Still, in the compact rock sometimes interspersed with grass (must be dry!), 4 wonderful pitches. And when you see good climbers playing in 7th grade next door, you're grateful for this 'easy' line that's perfectly protected.
