Description: If you liked it, please give a thumbs up and if you subscribe to my channel, I'll be very happy about it. The Hochvogel is a widely visible rock pyramid in the nature reserve of the Allgäu Alps. On its rocky summit, you feel like on a roof. Unfortunately, a deep crack runs across the summit structure, which will eventually break off. Therefore, the Bäumenheimer Weg is closed as an ascent route. Overall, the mountain tour is moderately difficult. For the ascent, surefootedness, freedom from vertigo and a lot of stamina, i.e., good fitness, are required. Finally, the ascent time from Hinterhornbach via Fuchstalsattel is given as about 5 1/4 hours, with an elevation difference of about 1,500 meters. Note that another about 170 elevation meters are added by the descent from Fuchkarsattel.
