Beautiful itinerary, very little known and frequented.
The mountain is accessible via a single path, which is more of a path trace than a proper trail, usually not marked on topographic maps. The route to the summit starts behind the upper part of the Landro fort, on an old military mule track that has been completely abandoned since the end of World War I, narrowing to a small path due to landslides and weather over nearly a century. This trace always follows a zigzag pattern with about sixty turns that leave no doubt about the way to take, nor is it too demanding. Along the path, traces from the conflict can be found, some along the way, others more hidden in the forest. After two hours of not too demanding walking, you reach a first barracks, where the arrival and subsequent departure of a cable car line is also located.
