Description:
The Viererspitze in the western Karwendel doesn't get excessive visitors anyway. Up the front Kreuzklamm in almost roguish streambed scrambling is pure fun (if dry!), mostly I, some spots II. The southwest ridge is the finest easy climbing (II, entry IV - the entry can be bypassed to the right); alternatively, continue up the Kreuzklamm in scree to the normal route in the saddle. The descent follows the normal route down the east ridge to Dammkarhütte.
