Description:
This beautiful hike to the Rhine source Tomasee I started at the Oberalppass train station. I chose the panorama trail via Pazolastock, which at 2739 meters marks the highest point of this hike. The ascent passed partly along very steep slopes and at some points on the ridge some surefootedness is required, so I would rate the tour myself as T3 (so-called demanding mountain hiking). However, the panorama on Pazolastock and the ridge is grandiose. The Tomasee, which is the source of the Rhine, is also very beautiful. Hard to believe that the great important river comes from it.
