Le Crêt des Roches is the promise of a rendezvous with exhilarating panoramas in the surprising setting of a rehabilitated former military battery. An argument that alone justifies the trip to Pont-de-Roide to tackle this moderately difficult hiking circuit leading into the old galleries and casemates of the Batterie des Roches. Since 2009, this historic site, serving as a step stool for visitors to gaze over the sparkling Doubs valley, has also been classified as a Regional Nature Reserve. Nature enthusiasts will be eager to discover a very specific biodiversity in the meadows galloping across this aesthetic cornice environment spanning 43 hectares and several kilometers. This discovery can be done as a stroll or a day hike. This is the version I chose and present to you in this new article.
