Description:
We present our first video, recorded during a wonderful walk that took us to the top of Signal du Petit Montcenis, just over 3,100 m altitude.
A splendid day that allowed us to admire a truly fantastic panorama! The ascent from Colle Sollières is marked as 'dangerous itinerary'. In our modest opinion, if you are at least minimally trained and have decent mountain knowledge, there's no need to be overly intimidated: in some points the terrain is slightly slippery and the final stretch is done with a short 'climb' on rock, but absolutely doable even without gear or special technical skills. Of course, you're always walking in the mountains and attention is never too much, but with some caution, you'll reach a fairly easy summit that will reward your efforts with a spectacular view of all the surrounding mountains.
