Description: Video dedicated to the ascent of Pointe and Aiguille Pers, two beautiful easily accessible mountains climbed from Col de l'Isèran. Despite the long journey for a Genoese like me, I did the trip in one day from Genoa with an early start but it was worth it as you'll see from these images. I started from Col de l'Isèran, ascended via Col Pers and along the West ridge first reaching Pointe Pers then Aiguille Pers. It was an easy ascent with some short easy climbing sections on rocks, otherwise a trail with cairns to the summit. As long as the weather held, the panorama from the two summits was truly vast and spectacular! I fully enjoyed this nice trip and descended before the announced deterioration in the afternoon. I reached the parking lot, had time to change and put the backpack in the car before a heavy downpour (short luckily!). I also had time to stop at Col de l'Isèran for some photos and footage before heading home. Elevation gain: 630 m. Difficulty: EE. Trip done on 4-8-2012. Footage uploaded in full HD 1080p which you can select for viewing or download. Enjoy and see you in the next videos!
