border crossing Sotina - Serdiški breg (Rdeči breg)

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Maribor, and then we continue driving on the Pomurska highway towards Murska Sobota. At the exit Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici we leave the highway and we continue driving towards Radenci. In Radenci we continue left towards Gornja Radgona and then soon right in the direction of Gederovci. From Gederovci we continue straight towards Krajna and Skakovci, and in Skakovci left towards Cankova. Further, we drive through the villages Breg, Krašči, Pertoča, Rogašovci, Serdica to the village Sotina. In Sotina we drive in the direction of Kalch (Austria) and through the gorge we drive to the border crossing, where we park.
B) From Murska Sobota we drive to Gederovci, and then we continue driving towards the places Skakovci, Cankova, Krašči, Pertoča, Rogašovci, Serdica to the village Sotina. In Sotina we drive in the direction of Kalch (Austria) and through the gorge we drive to the border crossing, where we park.

Path description:
From the border crossing, we return a few steps back, where we will notice a red marker, which directs us across the meadow, which we cross. A little further, we also cross the Ledava River, and then the path goes into the forest.
In the forest, the path starts ascending and leads us on a forest cart track. A moderately steep path, which runs through mixed forest, then brings us out of the forest, where we quickly arrive at a field, which we bypass along its edge. Next follows a walk through a strip of forest, then we go from the forest road left upwards. When we again leave the forest we go right, where we bypass the nearby feeding site. Higher, we go past another field, and then we already arrive at the indistinct Serdiški breg.
On the summit stands a tower, a little ahead from the summit there is also a log cabin, where there is a logbook and a few benches.
The view is outstanding despite the modest height!
