Budinci (border crossing) - Budinci (Trail of blooming meadows in Budinci)

Access to starting point:
From the road Murska Sobota - Hodoš, in the settlement Šalovci a little after the gas station Ina, we turn left in the direction of Budinci and Dolenci. When we get to Dolenci from the crossroad we continue left, and after the bus stop we go right on a side road. Next follows some descent, and after the transformer we cross the stream Dolenski potok and from the crossroad after the bridge we go left. Further, we stick to the main road, where we go past a cross and chapel, and then also through the hamlet Petešin Breg to the national border, where we park on an appropriate place.

Path description:
From the starting point, we go on the road which continues towards the west and runs on national border between Slovenia and Hungary, and soon the road turns left and goes away from the national border. We continue past individual houses, and when the road turns left we continue straight on a bad macadam road. Further, the path leads us through meadows and partly through the forest, and before the hunting observatory the signs for Trail of blooming meadows from the road point us to the left on a bad footpath which is gradually turning to the left. Next follow few crossings, where we follow occasionally rare signs, and when the path returns into the forest, it becomes again easier to follow. Further, the path leads us past an orchard and a smaller cemetery, and when we reach the main road, we go left. We continue past the chapel and landmark dedicated to the solar eclipse (11/8/1999 at the far northern part of Slovenia was visible a total solar eclipse), and we continue on the asphalt road to the border crossing Budinci, where we started.
