Celje - Miklavžev hrib (lookout tower) (via Capuchin monastery)

Access to starting point:
Celje is simply accessible from several directions. We park by the railway station near the bridge over the river Savinja or right next to it. We will also have an ideal starting point if we come to the town by train.

Path description:
From the railway station, we go in the direction of Laško and cross the bridge over the river Savinja. Immediately on the other side of the bridge, we turn right onto the road which leads along the river and after approximately 100 meters we turn left, where immediately by the narrow road which runs uphill, we notice an arched entrance with the inscription "kapucinske stopnice". We ascend the stairs, at the top we turn to the left and circle the building. Behind the building we turn into the grassy area and ascend to the visible beginning of the path in the forest. We ascend all the time, we go left uphill past the sign, which shows the direction (from where we came) for "monastery", and then we follow the signs for "razgledni stolp". From the forest we come to a clearing with a smaller platform or so-called Razgledni stolp, which offers a view of the town of Celje and the Old Castle Celje.
