Cerovec pod Bočem - Plešivec (at Boč) (eastern path)

Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana–Maribor highway, take the Dravlje exit, then follow the signs for Šentjur and then Rogaška Slatina. When we approach Rogaška Slatina, we do not drive toward the settlement but continue in the direction of Rogatec. A little further, we arrive at the settlement Cerovec pod Bočem, where we park behind the intersection where the road branches off to the left toward Sv. Florijan.
B) From the Maribor–Ljubljana highway, take the Slovenska Bistrica south exit, then follow the signs for Rogaška Slatina. When we approach Rogaška Slatina, we do not drive toward the settlement but continue in the direction of Rogatec. A little further, we arrive at the settlement Cerovec pod Bočem, where we park behind the intersection where the road branches off to the left toward Sv. Florijan.

Path description:
From the parking lot, on the pedestrian crossing carefully cross the main road, then head to the road toward Sv. Florijan, and soon along the path notice red mountain signposts for Grilova kapela and Boč. At first we walk on the sidewalk, after a few minutes the path turns toward the east and splits a little further. Before the chapel, continue on the left road, along which the blazes continue. Continue between some houses of the settlement Cerovec pod Bočem, where we follow the blazes; higher the asphalt path leads us into the gorge of Tržiški potok. For some time we continue through the mentioned gorge, then the road turns sharply left and gradually distances itself from the stream.
A little higher, the signs for Grilova kapela and Boč direct us left onto a side road (straight ranč Stojnšek), along which we continue ascending.
Higher we go left again, then past Grilov vodnjak we arrive out of the forest, where on the left, at the edge of the forest, we notice Grilova kapela.
Here we go right in the direction of Boč and Ložno and return to the forest. Continuing, we ascend the slopes of Grilov vrh (612 m), higher reaching a larger clearing on the northern side of the mentioned peak.
Here, from the southern part of the clearing, a view opens up reaching all the way to the Kamniško Savinjskih Alps; we go right, where on the right side we bypass an older wooden cottage. Only a short ascent on the cart track follows and we reach the forest road, where the marked path splits.
Continue right in the direction of Ložnega and Rudijev dom (straight Boč) and with the path continue on the macadam road that crosses the slopes to the right. During the crossing some views open up; at the smaller intersection go straight. After some time the road begins to descend noticeably; still before reaching the nearby house in the hamlet Ravnocerje, go left onto a steep road, along which we ascend to the nearby weekend cottage. Bypass the weekend cottage on the left side, then through the forest ascend to the marked junction, where we go left in the direction of Boča (right Ložno and Rudijev dom).
The path ahead ascends transversely along the cart track and quickly brings us to the ridge west of Ravnocerje. Here the path turns slightly left (sharply right peak Ravnocerje 3 minutes) and leads us past water that we see under the path. For a short time we continue along the forested ridge, then the path turns right and passes onto the slope, where at several junctions we follow the blazes. Higher, from the cart track go left onto the marked footpath (the cart track a little further joins the forest road), along which we notice a sign with the inscription forest reserve Boč. From here along the marked path we walk only a short time; when the path turns slightly left we leave it and continue straight and quickly ascend on easier pathless terrain to an indistinct and unmarked peak.
