Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Šoštanj, and then we continue driving in the direction of Črna na Koroškem. Only a little after mountain pass Spodnje Sleme we will notice a road which goes right in the direction of Uršlja gora (turn-off is marked). This road which is in the winter time cleared of snow and usually salted we follow approximately 1.5km to a crossroad by which we notice a cross and numerous signposts. We park on a parking lot by the road.
From Črna na Koroškem we drive in the direction of Šoštanj. Only a little before the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme we notice a road which from the main branches off sharply left in the direction of Uršlja gora. Further, follow the upper description.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the right road in the direction of Uršlja gora and Naravske ledine. The road goes immediately in the forest, where then without large changes in altitude continues to the saddle between Kotnikov and Kavnikov vrh. We still continue in the direction of Uršlja gora on the road which from here ahead starts steeply descending. The road then flattens and after approximately 45 minutes of walking from the starting point brings us to a little bigger crossroad at the farm Križan.
Here we continue on the left road in the direction of Naravske ledine (straight Uršlja gora). The road then past a hunting cottage in few minutes brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue on the right upper road (left Žerjav). The road then passes out of the forest on panoramic grassy slopes from which a beautiful view opens up, which reaches from the nearby Smrekovec to Peca. The road then returns into the forest and after a shorter ascent brings us to the next crossing.
We continue left in the direction of Naravske ledine (right Uršlja gora on the road) on the road which from the south passes on the north slopes. Then a short descent follows and on the left side we will notice a mountain hut Koča na Naravskih ledinah to which we have only few 10 strides of easy walking.
