Dragomer (OŠ Log-Dragomer) - Ferjanka (via Strmec)

Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana-Koper highway, we take the Brezovica exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Vrhnika. A little before the inn Šipca bar, we turn right into Dragomer and immediately left towards the school, where we park.
B) From the Primorska highway, we take the Vrhnika exit and continue driving on the old road towards Ljubljana. When the settlement Log ends, after Šipca bar we turn left into Dragomer and then immediately left towards the school, where we park. The school is already visible from the main road, and the abandoned quarry in Strmec is also visible.

Path description:
At the starting point, we look for a cart track which is situated by the bridge. We head onto it and immediately turn onto the steeper left logging trail, which makes a turn and we are again at a crossroads. We continue right and then again left and once again right. The logging trail slowly changes into a footpath. At the end of the footpath we arrive again at a logging trail, which leads from Log. We continue right. The logging trail ascends unevenly. We ignore all turn-offs to the left and right and soon we are on the overgrown secondary peak of Strmec. A gentle descent follows to a crossroads, where we can continue left to the summit of Strmec (a few tens of meters) or right towards Ferjanka. A steep descent follows to a crossroads, where we continue right along a worse and somewhat overgrown logging trail and soon after that left onto a somewhat overgrown footpath. Soon we reach a cart track and we are at Ferjanka, where there is a logbook box on the trunk of the tree.
