Path description:
From the parking lot by the bus stop, we continue a few dozen meters along the main road in the direction of Postojna. At some houses, we turn slightly right onto a marked access path that leads us past the houses, and a little further, we join an asphalt road that leads through the hamlet. We follow the road to the right. When the dense part of the hamlet ends, a path branches off to the right towards the viewpoint below Srnjak and Lanišča, but we continue along the road. Soon after the last house, the road loses its asphalt covering. After approximately 5 minutes of walking on the macadam road, we reach a sharp turn where a arrow of path Jakobova pot directs us straight onto a rougher cart track. We walk along it; at first, it is flat, then there are a few short ascents and descents, and later we cross an MTB track three times. We ignore all turn-offs to the left or right. The path becomes somewhat overgrown, but when we reach a clearly visible logging trail, we need to pay attention to a turn-off to the right. After a short footpath, we reach a road that comes from the Planina - Grčarevec road and heads towards Zagora. We continue along it towards Zagora. The road makes a turn and then veers to the left. After about 15 minutes, we reach a crossroad where we continue straight, as indicated by the arrow. To the right is cottage Polšakova koča in Zagora. Immediately after the crossroad, a logging trail branches off to the right towards Kležni grič. We continue along the road, which ascends slightly to moderately until a sharp turn, where a Jakob's yellow arrow directs us straight onto a steep logging trail. The rugged logging trail ascends steeply with short flatter sections, and at all junctions, we follow the yellow arrows. After 15 minutes of ascent, the logging trail flattens, and we continue past a small clearing into a small valley west of Kolk. We reach a crossroad where a logging trail branches off to the left towards Kolk. We continue slightly to the right, and after a short ascent, we arrive at a clearing near Grmada, where there is also a hunting observatory. We get to the road, where we continue left. To the right, the Hunting cottage on Planinska gora and Lohača. After a short descent, we are again at the crossroads, where the path to Grmada branches off to the left. We continue on the road, which descends and makes a turn. After 10 minutes of walking on the road, the path from the Hunting cottage on Planinska gora joins from the right, and in a few steps, we are at Sveta Marija.
