Island of love - Island of love (circular path on and by the island)

Access to starting point:
A) We leave Pomurska highway at exit Vučja village, and then we follow the signs for Ljutomer. Towards the Ljutomer we drive to the settlement Križevci, where from a roundabout we drive on exit Banovci, Veržej. Further, we drive through Veržej, and then we over the bridge cross river Mur. On the main road we drive also to the settlement Dokležovje, where from the roundabout we turn "right" towards Ižakovci. When we get to Ižakovci we follow the signs for Otok ljubezni (Island of love) in front of which we park on a marked parking lot.
B) We leave Pomurska highway at exit Lipovci, and then we follow the road towards Beltinci. Still before Beltinci, after OMV gas station in Lipovci from the roundabout we turn "right" towards Ljutomer and Zagreb. On the main road we drive also to the settlement Dokležovje, where from the roundabout we turn "left" towards Ižakovci. When we get to Ižakovci we follow the signs for Otok ljubezni (Island of love) in front of which we park on a marked parking lot.

Path description:
At the end of the parking lot, we continue left, where on the macadam road which is closed for public traffic we quickly get to an interesting stone heart before the bridge on Island of love (Otok ljubezni). We continue right over the bridge, and then by the left bank of the river Mur we quickly get to the "main" part of the island, where there are mill on Mur, museum, snack bar and ferryboat.
We continue straight along the river Mur upwards, where soon behind the bench of lovers (klop zaljubljencev) we leave the island. Also, the path ahead leads us on a wider path which continues along the river, and few minutes ahead the path turns right and goes away from the river Mur. Further follow few smaller crossroads, where we continue straight or right. After the football field NK Ižakovci we go right in the direction of Island of love (Otok ljubezni), and then after few steps on the left road. We continue on the macadam road, on which we walk to the spot, where on the right side we notice a wooden bridge on Island of love.
Here we can continue on the road and in few minutes we get to the parking lot, where we have started the trip, or we can continue right over the mentioned bridge, which through the forest brings us to the above mentioned "main" part of the island, from where we return to the starting point.
