At the traffic light just a little before Trbovlje, if we are driving from the Ljubljana direction, we turn right in the direction of Kum. If we come from Trbovlje, immediately after Trbovlje at the traffic light we turn left towards Kum. We follow the road, which climbs steeply, through the village of Dobovec to Lontovž, where we park on the parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue ahead on an asphalt road which goes into the forest. After a good 10 minutes of walking, a footpath to Kum branches off to the right.
We continue on the road, which ascends moderately. Then soon the asphalt ends and we come to a smaller clearing, where the road makes a sharp right turn and then goes back into the forest. Soon after that we come to a larger meadow, from which it is no longer far to the top. The road then goes once again for a short time into the forest and then past the chapel on an extensive meadow brings us to the top of Kum.
