Lovrenc na Pohorju - Klančnik (Glančnik) (via Povh, Brabar and Hudej)

Access to starting point:
A) From the road Maribor - Dravograd, between HE Fala and HE Ožbalt we turn left towards Lovrenc na Pohorju (from the direction Dravograd we turn right). On the other side of Drava we start ascending along Radoljna, and at the marked crossroad, we go slightly right on the main road towards Lovrenc na Pohorju. When we get to the settlement Lovrenc na Pohorju we follow the main road, in the center of the settlement, we turn right towards the primary school, where we park on a parking lot by the school. We can also park elsewhere in the settlement, where there are few settled free parking spots.
B) We drive into Ruše, and then we follow the road towards Lovrenc na Pohorju. In the settlement Činžat we get to a saddle, where the road starts descending, and lower we go left towards Lovrenc na Pohorju. When we get to the settlement Lovrenc na Pohorju we follow the main road, in the center of the settlement, we turn right towards the primary school, where we park on a parking lot by the school. We can also park elsewhere in the settlement, where there are few settled free parking spots.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the left road (right road leads to Holiday resort), which continues towards the west and it soon split. We continue on the right road which starts descending through the forest, and lower we get to the stream Slepnica, where we reach another road and a marked crossing.
We continue left in the direction of Lehen na Pohorju and Radlje ob Dravi (right and then left - Sveti Ignacij via Kapus and hunting cottage (Glančnik) and we continue walking on a gently sloping asphalt road which leads us through the valley. Soon also the second path branches off to the right towards Sveti Ignacij (path via Zgornji Dobnik), and we still continue on a gently sloping asphalt road, and we walk there to the confluence of the rivers Slepnica and Povhov potok, where the road splits.
We continue on the right side a road in the direction of the cottage Dobnik, where we at first still walk on an asphalt road. From the road a little further a road branches off to the right towards the cottage Dobnik (private land), and we continue straight and we follow the road to the next crossroad, from which we go left in the direction of homesteads Grobelnik and Povh.
We continue on a steeper road which continues through the forest, and higher we on the left side bypass the mentioned homesteads.
Higher, we reach a small saddle, where we on the left notice a cross, and we go from the road and crossroad right on a cart track (left road descends towards the settlement Lehen na Pohorju, and the right one leads to few more homesteads.
The path ahead leads us on a cart track, by which blazes are quite rare, and a little ahead, when we reach a bit wider cart track we continue right (if we continue left the cart track quickly ends), at first a little downwards, and when we get closer to the road, we go straight and we still continue on a cart track. Few steps we walk on a wider cart track, and then we go slightly left on a steeper cart track which soon comes out of the forest, where we notice signs for the church of St. Ignacij. We continue also through a lane of a forest and then we get to homestead Brabar, where we get again closer to a macadam road. We bypass the homestead on the left side, and then we go slightly right and we ascend to the edge of the forest, where the path splits.
We continue on a slightly left cart track, by which there are signs for Sveti Ignacij, and further follow few crossings, where we choose the cart track which is ascending, and at few crossings we can also notice signs or faded blazes. Higher, the path becomes more panoramic, and at the religious symbol we reach an asphalt road which we follow to the right (left - Sveti Ignacij and Hlebov vrh).
Already after few steps we get to homestead Hudej, which we bypass on the left side and we continue in the direction of Hunting cottage Klančnik (also Glančnik). Next follows few minutes of light to moderate ascent and the road brings us to the parking lot near the hunting cottage. And from the parking lot in a minute of additional walking, we walk to Hunting cottage Klančnik, from which a nice view opens up towards the main part of Pohorje.
From the hunting cottage, we go on the path in the direction of HE Ožbalt, so that we bypass the hunting cottage on the left side. Next follows few minutes of a panoramic ascent on a grassy slope and we reach 877 meters high peak.
