Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Celje we go to the exit Žalec and follow the road ahead towards Žalec. In Žalec we continue right towards Šempeter, but only to a crossroad, where the road towards Griže and Zabukovica branches off to the left. When we come in the village Migojnice, we park on a large parking lot in the middle of the village.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we go on the road in the direction of Bukovica (road on the left side of NOB monument). The road after few ten strides it brings us to a crossroad at the chapel, where we continue right (unmarked). This the road which is gently ascending, we follow to the last house in the village, from where we continue slightly left on a marked footpath which starts ascending through the forest. A nice forest path, which occasionally relatively steeply ascends, a little below the summit it brings us to a newly built cart track which we follow to the mountain hut Dom na Bukovici.
