Miklavž pri Ormožu - Kog

Access to starting point:
We drive to Ljutomer, where from the town center we head towards Ormož and Stročja vas, and then once again towards Stročja vas. In Stročja vas, we turn right towards Miklavž pri Ormožu and then drive towards the mentioned settlement. Before Vuzmetinci and slightly before Miklavž pri Ormožu, signs for the cemetery direct us left onto a narrower road, along which we quickly reach the cemetery on the outskirts of the settlement Miklavž pri Ormožu.
B) We drive to Ormož, and then we follow the signs for Ljutomer. After the settlement Pavlovci, we turn right from the main road and follow the signs for Miklavž pri Ormožu. In the mentioned settlement, behind the church, we turn right towards the cemetery, where we park in an organized parking lot.

Path description:
From the cemetery we continue on the asphalt road towards the north, and we quickly reach a crossroad, where we continue right towards Kog. Here we also join the marked path Kog - Jeruzalem, and with beautiful views of the surroundings we quickly ascend to the settlement Kajžar, where we turn right twice. Next follows an easy walk with some shorter ascents, and at a few crossroads we follow the blazes. Further, alongside shorter ascents, there are also a few shorter descents, and at Tourist farm Puklavec we turn left twice. The path ahead starts descending on the asphalt road, which lower down through a strip of forest brings us into the valley of the stream Trnava, where we turn left. We continue on the asphalt road for a short time, and when we reach the settlement Vuzmetinci, the blazes direct us right onto a cart track, where we cross the stream Trnava. As we approach the forest, we go left at the crossing, and near the vineyard we turn right uphill and ascend alongside the vineyard to an asphalt road, which we follow right uphill. Further on, there are a few ascents and descents and several crossroads, where we follow the blazes or signs for Kog. The fairly scenic road then leads us past the kmečka cheese cottage Perc, from where an easy ascent towards Kog follows. A little further, the blazes direct us left onto a side road, and before the cemetery we turn right, bypassing the cemetery on the left side. Next follows a minute of ascent, and we reach the church of St. Bolfenk on Kog; the inscription box is located a little further ahead.
